SSS Chapter Inducts Record Number

    SMITHFIELD-- The Smithfield Selma Senior High School chapter of the National Honor Society inducted 80 new members during its annual induction ceremony held at the school on Friday, January 28. The average number inducted each year is 50.

    Barry Saunders, columnist for the News and Observer newspaper, was the guest speaker for the event.
