Musical Hits Stage at SSS SMITHFIELD-- Smithfield-Selma High School is presenting BYE BYE BIRDIE, a musical comedy on March 3 at 7:30, March 4 at 3:30 p.m. and March 5 at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are $5 at the door. The musical is set in 1960 when Conrad Birdie, an Elvis wanna be, is going to be drafted into the army and his agent, Albert Peterson sets up a publicity stunt for Conrad to give "One Last Kiss" to a fan club member. This kiss is causing problems for everyone involved. The students and faculty of SSS will sing and dance their way through "Put on a Happy Face", "Kids" and many more songs for your enjoyment.
