Did you know that every 6 seconds a child dies from hunger? Garner United Methodist Church will be hosting a Stop Hunger Now meal packaging event on October 9 at 2:00 pm. At the event we will be packaging meals that will be delivered to hungry children and families around the world. The event is free and open to anyone ages 5 and up. We do ask that if you are able to please help us fundraise for the event and on October 9 bring a canned food item or two to help us kick off our Stop Hunger in Garner food drive that will run from October 9-November 22.
