I would like a storage shed built on my property, mostly for yard equipment. Not interested in a DIY "kit" or a pre-made shed plopped down on blocks. I want a stick-built shed on a concrete slab, with either a roll-up door or french doors, windows, shingled roof, siding to match the house, and electric run from the house. Anyone have references from having their own storage shed built, or of their neighbors? I'm in the process of getting quotes. Thanks.
I know my hubby, who's a builder, says he couldn't build one cheaper than they have the kits at Lowes. But that's all I know about it.
Wade's Shed's, Amelia Church Rd, Clayton 553-4133 Delivery and set up included. Love our shed. Have recommended to several other families, all happy with theirs too.

Thank you everyone for your suggestions, and PMs. I had Trenton Seagroves from Southern Home Services (919-669-9332) build one for me exactly as I wanted, minus the electric work, which I will get done at a later date. http://www.geocities.com/mt83rd/StorageBuilding.html
Very nice. I'd love to know how much they charged (you can PM me if you don't want to post it). Thanks!
I paid $4000 for it, turn key. 10' x 12' 8" concrete footer, 6" concrete floor footer is plumbed for electric room for overhead storage (no trusses) asphalt shingle roof vinyl siding and trim that matches the house french doors with locking handle and deadbolt, keys matching the house A couple people told me I paid too much. Considering the way it was built, and comparing it to the cost of pre-fab'd units at your local home improvement store, and that I'm happy with it and with the guys that built it, I don't care. The guy that did gutters on my house said for what I wanted and how I wanted it built, the price was reasonable.
