On Saturday, April 25, 2009 the Greater Cleveland Chamber of Commerce will hold its 10th Annual Strawberry Festival on Technology Drive (40/42). The festival events will include Large Inflatable's, Arts & Crafts, Family Oriented Activities, Entertainment and Assorted Food Vendors. Hope to be going, last year was our first time, and we had a great time! Seems like the inflatables were pricey, but we liked just walking around and seeing everyone and everything!
Dang, would like to have gone to this too....but going to the air show on Sat and then going to the Southern Women's show on Sunday. Why does everything have to be going on at the same time. :?
There is a new vendor doing the inflatbles etc. and from my understanding will less pricey! I hope to see you all there
I believe Riverwood is having their festival as well. I know previously their rides and inflatable’s were free.
We're going to the Spring Daze festival in Cary in the morning, and will probably do our picnic lunch there. Then we'll head back to JoCo and hit the Strawberry Festival. Then we're going to have a cookout at the house for ds' birthday. On Sunday we'll go to the air show, so it'll be a busy weekend. Can't wait!
Is 4042 having their booth there this year? Haven't seen anything about it Hopefully i will see some of you fellow 4042ers, i will be there around 1pm, got DGS's baseball practice in the morning.

Saw some restored Olds 442's at the Waffle House at US 1 & NC 96, Franklin Co., this morning. Beautiful cars. Said they were headed to the Strawberry Festival at 4042.
Just got back from the festival...it was BLAZING HOT! Didn't see as many people I knew as I thought I would, but it was really crowded! April, I think I did see you, but didn't realize it til we passed, and you did seem busy. I can't believe how many people we have in our little community! But everyone was very friendly, and we went into the Clubhouse for lunch, to get some AC, food was great! But boy were they busy...I didn't realize they have karaoke every Sat night at 9, I'll have to check that out sometime! Anyway, hope everyone out there has a good time, and April, hope you got that tan you wanted! 8)
Just got home myself! Enjoyed it, but it was HOT! Ran into some folks from scouts, from where I used to work and of course, a couple 4042ers! Got my cookbook too! :hurray::hurray::hurray:
Yes it was HOT! Had to walk and deliver mails today. It was good to see people I knew by and say hello. I just couldn't take my eyes off on those delicious-looking bbq ribs there! I forgot the name of that caterer - anyone?
HOT! HOT! HOT! but lots of fun! I saw lots of folks i know and even met some new peeps. me and my DD and my favorite neighbor kids where ther for about 3 hrs. I got sun burn on my arms and neck, now i can truley say I am a RED! neck lol, so glad i was wearing a visor. I had a great day. GAM
