SMITHFIELD-- The Johnston County Board of Education recognized four students at its September meeting for demonstration of good character traits. The honorees were Cameron Elliott, an eighth grade student at Clayton Middle School; Raj Persaud, a senior at Clayton High School; Julian Reed, a fourth grader at Cleveland Elementary School; and, Kaitlyn Cowell, a fifth grade student at Cleveland Middle School.
