I know something like this has been posted in the past and I attempted a search to no avail... :-(

I would really like to find some information on camps that you have experience with and your kids enjoyed. Thinking about 1-2 weeks, not the whole summer.

    Thank you for your help.

For girls, I highly recommend Camp Mundo Vista, right outside of Asheboro. We took our GA's from church a few weeks ago for a weekend, and they LOVED it and so did I!!

    Good Luck

My boys loved the 4H camps at Millstone. They have a Target Sports Camp and a General Session Resident Camp. They have been to them for the last 3 years. I don't see the Target Sports Camp dates listed yet. as a parent, I loved this camp for them, it's an awesome atmosphere.

they've also been to Camp Kanata (twice) with the YMCA and had a great experience as well. (YMCA has tons of camps). YMCA also offers full or partial scholarships to help cover the cost.

My son has gone to UNCG for ID tech camp. It is the ULTIMATE geek camp! If anyone decides to go let me know, they have a referral plan and we can both save money lol.

Camp Broadstone in Valle Crucis is wonderful. My DS loved his time there and it is well worth the cost. You have to be accepted to go as it is for gifted kids.

My son also had a great time at ASU last summer at a Forensic Anthropology camp. He greatly enjoyed his time living on campus and being a college student, if only for the week!! Highly recommend anything at Appalachian. They took very good care of him and they have lots of camps available.

Campbell also has a great basketball camp!
