Someone help me understand how this works. Perhaps my brain is just to tired to wrap around it. They are going to tax my currently tax-free healthcare benefits. That money will go to pay for refundable tax credits The credits (for me) would then pay the taxes on my healthcare benefits Yet somehow there will be something left over from my healthcare taxes to pay for someone else to get a tax credit to pay their healthcare costs?!?
Here is the deal the government pig wants more money whether you are talking Federal or State and Democrat or Republican. Increase taxes and lower accountability. Sooner or later maybe the people will wake up and demand more. The pig is fat, bloated, and inefficient. You do not change that by putting more feed in the trough. There is Hope for America. How about someone that has never voted for a tax increase or an unbalanced budget. We have tried the lawyers and we have tried the Businessman. Mag, Republican or Democrat, I haven't cared for either one of our senators lately. I have struggled to find anything Dole or Burr have initiated that either made sense or was a definitive positive for NC. Sure they have voted for some bills that I agree with and some that I disagree with, but as for their own sponsored initiatives or something they have done that really stands out...I can't find it. Thanks for bringing this one to light. It seem like a real lame-brained attempt to do something without doing anything. So much for smaller government!
