Taxact vs Taxcut

I have used Taxcut for over 10 years to do my own federal & state taxes. I found out about Taxact with is online only and is alot less expensive than Taxcut. Just wondering if anyone has any experience with Taxact online?

Ive used it the last 3 years, it's good.

 

Changing from one program to another can be a pain if you have much information you carry over from year to year - depreciation, installment sales, etc. Some programs can convert info from your old program, but others you just have to enter all the data by hand.

KDTax makes everyone pay double the amount amount of taxes.

 

We have used TaxAct for the past several years. Happy with the software.

 

Dont be bitter because a simple tax program can do your job, book keeper.
