Just wondering what the different teacher workday childcare options are? I recently went back to work as a teacher assistant, and as much as I would like to not pay childcare, I think it would be unfair to make my kids sit at school all day on a teacher workday. I am hoping to find a fun place for them to spend those days, but also not pay a fortune.
Kid's Clubhouse Morgan's Gymnastics maybe Little Stepping Stones maybe Interskate maybe YMCA maybe That's all I can think of off the top of my head... The only one that I have personal experience with is Kid's Clubhouse.
Not sure if you have any teenagers in your neighborhood, but maybe get one of them to babysit. I used to do it and my oldest has babysat in the past. My youngest is just now old enough to where I would trust him to babysit.
Not to mention teenagers love money and they usually don't charge as much as the "drop off" places. I know I used to watch 3 kids from 7:30am to 5:00pm for $20 and a bag of doritos and a 2 liter of Sprite. Now this was about 20 years ago....so the price has probably gone up. Not to mention the little ones think it is cool to hang out with a teenager.
I do have some teenagers I could use, I was just thinking my kids would have a good time doing something different once in a while. I found Morgan's and I think theirs is only about $25 per day, and interskate is $17 per day(I think). So, I just need to make sure of prices, and what they offer. We only have like 7 workdays total, not counting holidays, so it wouldn't be too bad.
