I know many of you have mentioned a local Animal Hospital that has wonderful vets, pricing, etc....but, after searching the posts, I can't seem to verify if it was Stage Rd. Animal Hospital or not. Can someone please let me know if this is the one or not? We need a second opinion on an issue our Boxer is having and I wanted to try the Vet that so many of you have mentioned many times!! Thanks.

From many different folks I have

heard nothing but good of this vet ... compassionate about the animals & won't try to suck all the moolah outa your pocket.

I personally have not used them - no reason to change vets for me at this point. But if I do end up ever changing, I'm heading to Old Stage myself with my critters.......

Good luck - hope all is well with your boxer in the long run. I have one too - she's a spoiled mess.:jester:

By the way, the boxer mix pups in my pic are not my Tater's pups .. these are foster pups .. my Tater is spayed :hurray:

Great! Thanks, JCoRes. The boxer pups are adorable, and I had a good laugh over the name of your boxer - Tator. Too cute. Our boxer is Sheba, and she's a spoiled mess too. Nothing serious for the Vet, just a little bit of an itchy skin problem. How old are the foster pups?

Love this vet. They recently had to put one of my k9 buddies to sleep and even though it was real tough, they did it with a HUGE amount of compassion and class.

Not to mention I had called around to others that morning because I knew it had come down to putting him to sleep. They were the only ones willing to see us that day and by far the cheapest. They even evaluated him to make sure there was nothing they could do... at no cost. They even sent me a sympathy card a couple days later.

    First Class all the way!

Sounds like a classy owner and veterinarian.

My condolences at the loss of your friend.

Yep, Stage Road is great. They gave us the best price for heartworm treatment for a dog we rescued - even better than the vet we had been taking our other dog too. We switched her too and they have been great. Dog #1 has ear problems and old vet just kept charging and charging us w/o figuring out the problem. Stage Road actually showed me what was going on & tried different meds until we found the one that worked. They also just charged us for meds the 3rd and 4th rechecks while the second was a reduced recheck fee instead of the full office fee our old vet charged. Very compassionate and willing to take the time to explain to you what's going on with your pet. I can't say enough nice things about them!
