temp. of your house?

Ok was wondering what do you keep your a/c at ? I have been told my house is to cold . I keep it at 69. I was wondering what most people keep theirs at?

 

I keep mine on 70. :mrgreen: And alot of people say its too cold. Most of my friends that come over, always bring a long sleeved jacket/shirt.

 

We keep ours around 78 and run ceiling fans in all the rooms. It's comfortable.

We keep ours at 77. Sometimes it gets too chilly but 78 sometimes gets too hot in the house. There just seems to be that fine line between 77 and 78 so we keep it on 77. Very comfortable.

 

I'll bet the utility companies love some of you! :lol: :lol: We keep ours at about 74 and run the ceiling fans too. I've been here 6 years and the heat still gets to me.

 

72 with ceiling fans on in every room to circulate!

I am the 'Thermostat Nazi' (and electric bill payer too) at my house too, and I want it to be very cool. I am always running all around, up the stairs, down the stairs, folding laundry, putting away laundry, etc. I don't like to sweat whilst doing chores.

I think it just depends on the individual. :mrgreen:

 

We turn it down if we're having people over.

 

Ours is comfortable at 74 and the ceiling fans running. We have lots of trees around our house, so we don't sit in direct sunlight all day.

 

My husband keeps it at 75 and I bring it down to 72 when I can. LOL. It is at 70 when I clean the house LOL.

We keep ours at 74...with fans running. Sometimes it gets too hot, but with the electric bill being $225 last month, it's going to probably be a little hotter now!

As an aside...

Why is it in summer why do we try to keep the house as cool as it was in winter when we complained about the cold?

 

we keep our house about the same all year long, maybe a little cooler in the winter around 68 I think

 

Ours is typically at 75 and we run ceiling fans.

 

I know it makes know sence . In the winter I am always cold I keep it on 74
and still walk around freezing .
