    Hello All my fellow 4042ers,

Today I am the bearer of sad news.

    Scott Starling has passed away.
He died very peacefully at about 2:30 this morning with his family right beside him.
It is very sad and at the same time we are happy that his suffering is finally over.
He made it just in time to have a big birthday bash with Jesus.

I'd say he had a wonderful life though. Through everything that he has been through, he always had a smile and a joke for you.
Thank you to all those who prayed for him, he is in peace now, and he hurts no more.
    So thank you, very much.
    Merry Christmas Ya'll.
Times like this show us what Christmas is really about.....Love.

Happy to hear he is finally at peace. 25 years was a good fight.

Thoughts and prayers to the loved ones he left behind. Even when we have seen a loved one's suffering and pain through this kind of a battle, and we know he's in a better place, it's still hard to go on without him. We weep not for the dear departed, who is finally at peace, but for ourselves, who must cope with the loss. God bless you, all of his loved ones.

Excellent sentiments, could not havve expressed it any better. My heart goes out to the ones he has left behind and pray they find comfort in the fact that he has gone to a better place without pain and will be waiting for the day his loved ones will join him.

It is hard to know what to say when things like this are presented.
Sometimes it makes you feel like saying "I'm Sorry" just seems like putting a band-aid on a broken arm, but I do know that he will be truly missed, and some of the people on this forum knew Scott, and know his family, and I thought they would like to know.

I hope I did not bring down your day any, Scott would not want anyone to dwell on his death, only to celebrate his life.
James Scott Starling will always be remembered as the loving Paw-Paw we always knew.

Merry Christmas and God Bless you all...

    Brooke
