    House Passes Rescue Plan in Second Vote

    WASHINGTON — In a nail-biter, the House Thursday approved the Bush administration's $700 billion financial markets rescue package, a measure promoted as a means to prevent a U.S. economic collapse.

    I'll give you the results. A lot of ticked off citizens who will pay for it when they had no part in this turmoil. Being good only got us more taxes. Anyone interested in joining me in initiating a coalition against this bill and the implementation of associated taxes, PM me.

    It’s apparent that our representatives voted against the request of their constituents. That constitutes no less than taxation without representation. We elect them to speak for us, not them. I’d like to dress up like an Indian call the TV stations and throw a few politician effigies off Johnny Mercers Pier to get their attention.:lol:

    JMHO- but I don't think we would have needed a bailout if we had a president worth half a crap.

    Yeah, yeah, yeah!! Convenient scapegoat! LOL! :jester: It's everyone's fault, the president, congress, you name it. I still think we need to fire them all and start fresh.
