I had to pick TWO up from school today. Sore throats, coughs, runny noses, possible pinkeye. Sigh.

What else is going around that I need to be ready for?

Maybe that is what I had last week too. I've never had a migraine that lasted 3 days before! :?

From what I have seen at work, both kids and parents are getting
Bronchitis and a bad Sinus Infection
Mine has not gotten it yet......knock on wood, but I am sure it is coming.
    Good Luck everyone.
Ready, sorry to hear about your little ones.
    Hope they feel better soon.

I took mine to the doctor today for what I thought was the croup but instead they tested her and it turns out she has the flu!

Girl I work with had pink eye during Christmas Break. I had the flu. My oldest was complaining of a headache last night and this morning and feeling a little warm.
    Tis the season!

Everyone that I've talked to that has had a kid with the flu this year has said that they start out with a croup-like cough. At least we know what to be on the lookout for. Bark-like cough = visit to doctor!

My 13 year old has been in the bed since late this afternoon. He didn't have a fever at that point, just didn't feel well. Guess I should go up and check on him but I hate to wake him up. I'll go anyway.

Just FYI, a strain of strep throat is going around...it starts with a headache. You may or may not feel congested (maybe a separate illness), but you begin having a stomach ache (no vomiting or diarrhea) and then a fever. My son is the latest of several in his class to get this...none of them had sore throats!
