Okay, I am always reading about all of your furry friends on here and started missing that companionship. We had to put my first four-legged baby to sleep several years ago and I have wanted another dog ever since. So, after much pleading with my husband, I FINALLY convinced him to let us get a puppy; so, today (thanks to a 40/42 calssified ad) we added a beautiful little girl to our family! I hope Marley stays as happy with us as we are with her!
I tried to post a picture when I first put this thread on, but, couldn't figure it out. Will check with my son and see if he can help. Unfortunately, it is not going well with the little cutie and we may very well need to find her a new home. One of my girls is terrified of our neighborhood small dogs but she was the one who begged the most for a puppy. The second day we had her, my daughter ran out into the street trying to get away from her. I should have known better but thought that if she had one of her own and could spend time with it, she would overcome the fear she has. I still want to give it a few more days and see what happens; it is breaking all of our hearts to think she may have to go but the safety and well-being of my children has to come first. If anyone has any suggestions, I am open to anything...my daughter cries everytime I say we may not keep the puppy but I can't stand to watch her be miserable with it here.
I hate to hear that you are having problems, but it happens. I wish I could give you some good advice, but children are unique. What kind of dog did you get?
There I did it...sorry the picture is so big...she certainly isn't! Ima Sheltie...I was told she was Austrailian Shepard/Boston Terrier but my neighbor who is a vet assistant thinks she has some Beagle in her. She's a cutie and so sweet and loving!
Ohmygosh. That is the cutest dog in the whole wide world. How is it going now? Let me know if you need to find her another home.
