A break in and theft occured during the day in a building adjacent to a house (last week) in the Mcgees Crossroad area. Stolen was a number of electronic items and music equipment. Please be on the lookout and provide information to the e-mail address/phone number listed below. A $500 reward is being offered.
The most recent theft happened at a barn next to a house on Old Drugstore Road where some talented kids have band practice and play music for their friends.....only now, things don't seem so friendly after someone broke in and stole not only material things but the passion of some local youth. This is not the first theft in this area in the past few months. Please respond to the thread or contact the Johnston County Sheriff's Dept. if you know anything about the stolen equipment. (You can even send confidential tips or info to the sheriff's department on their web-site which you can find through 4042.com's Local Links tab.) This band was asked to play in the Cleveland area on July 4th and they do not have equipment now. Please keep an eye/ear out for info that may help lead them to find their stolen items and/or the person(s) who took them....
