http://wral.com/news/local/story/2764548/ Roanoke Rapids, N.C. — The parents of a 4-month-old baby have been charged after Roanoake Rapids police say as many as 40 bones in their infant daughter's body were broken. Jasmine Broady, 19, and Terry Jay Lee, 24, were arrested Friday and charged with felony child abuse. The police department received the initial abuse report in late February from the Department of Social Services. Investigators have not said exactly how the child was injured, but expect her to recover. Broady and Lee were in the Halifax County Jail Monday, each under a $20,000 bond. Their first court appearance is scheduled for June 4.
I hope you are mad on both sides of the coin. If this was reported in Feb...and it's now nearly the end of April...Maybe this kind of stuff could have been prevented.
$20,000 BOND!!! ??? I hit someone with a baseball bat, didn't break ANYTHING....and got a $30,000 bond....what's up with that. They should have no BOND!!
