Two weeks ago I noticed Time Warner had added the Yes network to their lineup.Being from NY and wanting to watch the Yankees play on the network the Yankees created for baseball, it was going to make the rest of the season fun.I called Time Warner to receive a price to add on the Yes Network. I was told it was an additional $4.95 per month, what a great deal.I made sure to ask if this allowed me to see every Yankee game, the rep said yes,I said add it on.The following evening I went to the channel 334 looking forward all day to watch the game.Well no game just taped segments to other programing.??????? I called Time Warner and asked what was up with the game. They indicated the service did not include the Yankee games live.I spent over 45 minutes on the phone with reps and supervisors trying to get an understanding on why I was mislead. They apoliogized for the incorrect information....that's all they ever do is say we are sorry you feel that way and do nothing about it....The supervisor after negotiation promised to add a credit of $139.00 to cover the rest of the season for the MLB network, also I asked for the Yes service to be discontinued.....No of this happened they outright lied a second time to me. It is an unfortunate situation when a company like Time Warner has no compitition in an area and can run liberties on the hard working public....The customer service of Time Warner is the worst I have ever dealt with they are often rude, and of course over 3 days out right lied to me.I pay big dollars for services and in no way do they have appreciation for their customers.I hope in the future we have other choices cause I cannot wait to pull the plug on Time Warner...
We had a serious go around with them earlier this week too. DH spent over an hour on the phone with them. That man could argue with a fence post and he got one there. He got what he wanted in the end, but dang! :ack: It would have been much easier on that CSR just to give in at the beginning.
Yeah... Monopolies are terrible things. I think the worst part is what the major cable companies want to do with bandwidth... No one competes to be the fastest anymore, they all compete to be the cheapest. Its such a pathetic direction for technology to go in, and it leaves us way behind in overall connection speeds.
I do direct tv..... which will be even nicer here pretty soon... TICKET!!!!!!!!!!!!! Get Ready for some football
