I have guests coming from out-of-town (TN) and am looking for ideas on how to entertain them this Saturday while they are here without breaking teh bank (besides shopping - I hate the malls the weekend after T'giving!) With our two families, there are 4 adults, 4 teenagers from 11-16, and three little ones from 1-4. Any thoughts?

    Thanks!

The Museum of Natural History in downtown is free.

or it could be the Museum of Natural Science that is free. One of the two are free.

"The North Carolina Symphony is in a Celtic mood this year. Join us for beloved music of the season and a very special reading of Dylan Thomas's A Child's Christmas in Wales by Theo Llewellyn, Grant's youngest son. Also featured are the North Carolina Master Chorale, baritone Jason McKinney and bagpipes player Howard Sanford."

We did the Pops holiday show last year after Thanksgiving. Everyone enjoyed the show and the sights to see downtown.
