To those of you buying lottery tickets at 8 o'clock in the morning on a workday while I am quickly trying to get friggin' simple cup of coffee.... To grandma and grandpa who go for a lazy scenic drive at 7:30 in the morning on a Monday down a two lane road..... Stop it! There's those of us trying to contribute to the economy and who get paid by the hour! /how many dollars have been lost by working people standing in line waiting for some mouthbreather to get his rocks off playing scratch off tickets?
Funny you should mention that. I was in Zebulon last week just popped in to get a coke and 3 women were at the register. They would buy tickets, scratch and then buy more. I put the coke down and went to another store who was happy to take $1.39 for a coke :?
Don Lee's store has a sign telling customers not to scratch lottery tickets at the counter. I thought anybody with common sense should know that, but apparently not. . . or . . . everybody doesn't have common sense :?:
I actually thought that was a law. And to Quincy8boy try leaving a little earlier so that you aren't so rushed in the morning or start brewing your own coffee. Craig
I don't brew my own coffee 'cause I only drink a cup and my wife doesn't drink it. Plus Handee Hugo's grinds their beans right before they brew it, so its pretty good. And its not like I'm going to be late, i've just got to get to to work between 7 and 9 but I like to get some time-and-a-half and I can just see the money going through my hands when I'm standing in line behind somebody.
