Whee ... everyone's favorite subject. Toilets. Does anyone know a cheap, reliable handyman to come fix a toilet that wont stop running? Pretty sure the problem is the flapper valve seat ... it's warped ... so of course, the whole flush-valve assembly needs to be replaced which means removing the whole tank. More than I'm willing to try and take on myself. Any suggestions? Thanks ... being a home owner is a headache.
If it's just a flapper valve you can replace that by itself. As for the entire flush assembly, you do not have to remove the tank to do that either, it's really a simple process.
Lowes has the whole kit and I (this mechanically inept individual) did it in under an hour. Even came with dye packets to make sure no leaks occurred.
What does a drink made with Crown Royal, Peach Snaupps, and Cranberry juice have to do with toilet repair?
Answer: If you drink too much of it, you are going to need your toilet repaired also. Did I get that right?
