Torn rotator cuff

Has anyone here ever had it? Did you have surgery? How was the recovery?

 

Had it twice on same shoulder. Recovery is brutal for about a month.

 

Was it diagnosed by the dr as that? I just ask because I had problems w/ my shoulder yrs ago, and altho they thought that's what it was - after an MRI, it showed it wasn't. It was still hard and painful to make it better - but didn't require surgery.

 

I'll find out for sure in the next week or so. They are sending me to Raleigh orthopedic.

 

I did not have rotator cuff issues, but I did have a bone spur in my shoulder removed in May. I was told it was easier recovery than rotator cuff surgery and it was rough. Sorry! I still have a little pain and stiffness if I don't keep up with PT exercises regularly and I am 6 months out.
I have had multiple other surgeries including 2 c-sects and my shoulder has been the worst recovery so far.
I had my surgery done by a Raleigh Ortho doc. LOVE them.
