Back in the day, when I was working for an insurance company, I used to have a code that I could call into DMV and give them a license plate number and they'd tell me the owner. I'm not working for an insurance company anymore, but I need to find out who drives a car with a certain license plate.
Unfortunately (or luckily, depending on how you feel about it) the DMV no longer makes avaiulable personal information to the general public. According to their website:
Someone needs to know how their teenager is driving and the gestures they're using towards women with small children.
You've got us all on pins and needles now. I say post it here and someone will probably know the kid and/or their parents.
Can't you report it to the police station...Make they will make a visit to the house...I bet that would scare teh crap out of em
I just really did not appreciate the way this agressive driver made a horrible move in traffic, and then acted like his mistake was my fault. And the license plate was personalized and easy to remember, so I just figure in this day of gun toting people (and I don't want to get shot), maybe a nice little postcard to his parents might allow them the opportunity to have a conversation with this kid.
I tried searching to see if there was site like litterbutt to report people and didn't find one - but this one is funny to read, we can all relate to drivers like this  http://www.platewire.com/location/?North Carolina
You can report aggressive driving to the Police. Just tell them the situation and that you had children in the car.
Funny stuff....I read this thread the other night, and filled it away in the back of my mind. Well, tonight I went to the Lowes food and due to the way the shopping carts were Wildly tossed at the return, combined with the fact that my 2500 Dodge is HUGE, I had to take up 2 parking spaces (out in the boonies). When I came back from 5 minutes of shopping, what was the boonies had several cars in it, around my truck. My wife had stayed in the truck while I went in, and said she saw somebody staring down my plate. Was halfway expecting to find myself on that site tonight. I'm not on there yet, but I halfway expect one of ya'll to "report" me
Some of the worst driving behavior I have EVER seen is in the afternoon carpool line at West View....especially yesterday (little truck and Mr. Honda Element...one even got out of the car and confronted the other:evil I am most thankful that it is AFTERNOON carpool and my kids are not in the car yet. Shame on you.....so what if it was raining and the "carpool lady" was not out there directing traffic...it's called courteous merging. Sorry to vent. I was ashamed that they were parents from my child's school!!!!:beathorse:
A group of us were talking about this very thing yesterday at lunch. I wish they did have something like that.
