This is the man who wrote and sang the song, Cinderella, about his 3 adopted little girls. The youngest of those 3, Maria, is the one who was killed. She is in his lap in this picture.

I heard this on the news this morning! Very sad!

 

I read the story this morning on WRAL.com.
Obviously the whole family is grieving but his son must be especially crushed.
Very sad, indeed.
