RALEIGH, N.C. — Several train cars have derailed near downtown Raleigh, but officials say no one has been hurt and there have been no evacuations. Multiple media outlets report the cars left the track at a rail yard in North Carolina's capital around 4 p.m. Sunday. Norfolk Southern says seven cars derailed, and at least one of them contains ethanol. Special equipment is being sent to put the cars back on the track. Raleigh police say the derailment isn't causing any major traffic problems.
