I heard about a neat resource on Christian 107.3 this morning. There is a family that has spent the last ten years traveling the states finding interesting places to take families on vacation. From what one of authors said they give a first-hand opinion on the value of typical tourist spots AND share lots of tips for low cost and little known opportunities.
