    Hi,
Is this like the most disappointing venture. Finding a god fearing honest contractor. One that sticks to the contract and has good references. We know many and some are friends of ours, but unfortunately that's not an option either. Maybe word of mouth? Can anyone recommend one?
    Thanks

Did you ever find someone to help you out with this? I am on the lookout as well!

Trust is earned! Find a contractor then check him/her out and hope for the best. I have found that the less money given to them up front the faster the work will be done. The more money given the lomger it will take.

I would suggest you call Wayne Holt of Holt Flooring... He re-did my 3rd floor attic and I'm really pleased with the results.

To the original poster: I would stay away from contractor who goes out of their way to tell you he is God-fearing, those are the ones who have been the most likely to lie, cheat and steal from my experiences. Sad but True.
