Well, many look similar, but it makes little difference if people confuse them. I can promise you there are many that are being fought in the tri-county area, heck likely the entire country, that are not pure pit. When it comes to making money off of animals, these fighters aren't checking bloodlines. After a couple of fights, if they manage to survuve, who would recognize them anyway?
Ken, please don't get me wrong, breeds are what people make them. The media has a field day with whatever they can chomp down on. I work with a lot of Rotties, Shepherds, 2 GIANT Mastiffs, and a couple of Dobies, I have had Shepherds and Dobies of my own, so I understand the 'stigma' all to well. The point I was trying to make is that the people that fight dogs, don't care what it is as long as they can get it to fight, or use it as bait, they make money, drugs, firearms, whatever the pot consists of, either way.
