Okay, so I think I'm all done with my Christmas shopping, right? Well today my 6 year old DD announces that the one thing she wants from Santa is a pink Fur Berry. She had mentioned this before, but very casually, among her list other things, all of which she is getting. I thought the Fur Berry looked a little young for her so I DID NOT GET HER A PINK FUR BERRY. Now they are GONE from the stores! These things are a kind of stuffed animal that normally cost about $15. I can get one from Amazon or ebay for $25+ plus shipping... and who knows if it would get here in time.

What would y'all do, fork over the dough and cross fingers that it is delivered in time, or hope that she won't be too disappointed without it on Christmas morning.

I probably wouldn't get it just because I don't think you'll get it in time. But I know how you feel, I don't like letting my kids down either...My 4yo keeps adding to his list every day but I've been done for 2 weeks!

(This is one of the reasons I love my 40/42 family!)

hmmm....well...my son has asked for a brother for Christmas..."A brown one like me" he says....he has three big sisters and feels quite outnumbered. He is adopted and said..."Can't you just sign some papers and get one for me for Christmas?" yikes! Wish he wanted a pink fur berry! lol

Mine asked for a baby sister. So I got her one them dolls that cries and looks real. The thing cries alot and loud , the way I see it after she opens it, give it a hour and she will want the batteries out and I can say see a real one would be worse.

Well, I would say Santa has already had the list for a long time.

My 10 yo had all of the following on her list:
    digital camera (pink)
    trampoline
    basketball goal and bball
    new inline skates
    electric scooter
    4 webkins
    new bike
    golf cart
    etc. etc. etc.

I told her Santa would get a couple of the items, so her Santa gifts are the camera, scooter and a 4g ipod. Everything else she gets (new clothes, etc.) are from Dad and I. I'm hoping I'll finish my shopping TODAY at lunch! I did all my wrapping last night, while working from home...busy time of the year!
