I just read below on TMZ, but just looked and RBC is still selling their tickets to Friday nights concert. So, I don't know what to believe, although TMZ is usually very accurate. Thank God, I went to Greensboro last year and saw them. Sources tell TMZ the Van Halen tour has just been canceled! We're told arrangements are being made right now to cancel hotel stays for the tour -- which was scheduled to continue through April 19th. Sources tell us the reason for the cancellation is Eddie -- that he is having "issues." The last three shows had already been canceled. There have been reports that Eddie was out of it during concerts -- and video of recent performances in which his guitar playing was atrocious. Reps could not be reached for comment.
I have got to be honest. I said it in a previous thread. I saw them in Greensboro I didn't think they were that good. The sound as awful, you could not hear Roth sing. Others disagree with me.
Saw them back in The early 90's @ walnut creek (when everyone was lighting the bonfires on the lawn). Was an amazing show.
If the show is still on, and the media keep pouring about Eddie's "issues", then they probably will lip syched it to cover their a**.
http://music.msn.com/music/article.aspx?news=303788>1=7702 According to this article, it has been canceled.
I heard it was being rescheduled due to some medical tests that Eddie must undergo. I heard the 13th as well. Only I thought it was April 13th, but maybe it's March. They did stress..."hold on to your tickets!"
