I just saw this post!! Thank you so much to all the Vets, young and old for ALL that you have done for this country!!!!!
Absolutely! Thank you to all the men and women who have served or currently serving our wonderful country! We honor you on this very special day, but you are in our hearts every day. From my family to yours, God Bless You All and God Bless America!!!
I thanked my veteran in person. But thank you to all those who have, and continue to protect and serve.
As a veteran, I would also like to thank my fellow veterans and the soldiers, sailors, airmen and marines that fight the good fight daily. Thank you for all you do.
Thought some of you might find this link helpful. It would be great to tell the "veterans to be" thank you today as well and this provides a way to do just that. http://www4.army.mil/ocpa/tooursoldiers/
Thanks to all the veterans who served and have helped to shape and mold this country. Thanks to all the men and women currently serving to protect us all.

And who has lived to tell it Yet know they never will Reasons that the journalists And politicians won Will never be the same as those On this side of a gun So on this day we lay aside Our arguments and advice And thank the Lord for those who gave The ultimate sacrifice Copyright 2007 by John Fischer http://www.fischtank.com/ft/inthetank.cfm [/FONT]
A great heartfelt thank you to all who have served this country and made it what it is today. God Bless you all.
Thanks to my father, uncles, aunts, and all others who served in the armed forces both in peace time and conflict so I can have the comforts I enjoy today. Thanks for those who intend to join and serve in the future. And a special thanks to all those who gave their life so I may enjoy mine as I do.
Freedom Never Cries I've watched alot of Veteran tributes, all nicely done, but this one seemed a little extra special: http://www.godtube.com/view_video.php?viewkey=9b34deecc466b1ee6f78&page=4&viewtype=&category=mr Freedom Never Cries by Five For Fighting I took a flag to a pawn shop For a broken guitar I took a flag to a pawn shop How much is that guitar? I took a flag to a pawn shop I got me that guitar What’s a flag in a pawn shop to me? Saw a man on the TV In a mask with a gun A man on the TV He had a ten year old son I saw a man on the TV His son had a gun He says that he’s coming for me Chorus I never loved the soldier Until there was a war or thought about tomorrow ‘til my baby hit the floor I only talk to God When somebody’s about to die I never cherished freedom Freedom never cries I wrote a song for a dead man To settle my soul A song for a dead man And now I’ll never grow old I wrote a song for a dead man Now I’m hollowed in the cold What’s a song to a dead man to me? I never loved the soldier Until there was a war or thought about tomorrow ‘til my baby hit the floor I only talk to God When somebody’s about to die I never cherished freedom Freedom never cries You can cry for her Die for her Lay down your life for her Kiss and wave goodbye to her Anything at all You can cry for her Die for her Make up your mind to her Anything at all There’s a baby on the doorstep Wailing away There’s a baby on the doorstep Longing for the day There’s a baby on the doorstep Who’d give his life to take A flag to a pawn shop A flag to a pawn shop May he forget why he is crying Someday
