Just curious for the reasons some folks do not vote. i work with a woman who refuses to vote cause she hates politicians (yes i have talked myself blue in the face about it to her) BTW, please be honest, no one knows who you are on polls. Comments explaining your view would be appreciated though.
Actually that is good, jmho, but i believe it is better not to vote than place an uninformed vote. IMO, i think you did the right thing.
Ok, at this point right now, there have been 50 views of this thread but only 10 people have voted. What is up with that?
I didn't vote, but there were a lot of reasons why not, (only one in office, moving into a different office space, dealing with new hires, no time, along with a few other reasons.)
Actually it was the first time for me (well other than the last Presidential election)! I was excited! I had some favorites that I knew I would vote for, and then just voted in my party for the rest..I know I know, not the perfect scenario, but at least I tried. I will make sure I am fully prepared for the next one!! Looks like most of my picks won, except for Carol Brannock for BOE I was pulling for her, but I think she campaigned the least so I am not completely surprised. They are not officially done so I am still crossing my fingers...
Did you guys see this? NC House Dist 100 Jim Black (i) (D) 5,298 50% Hal Jordan (R) 5,291 50% Precincts Reporting - 100% Now tell me that every vote doesn't count....
MamaApe, Ain't it great? I love your enthusiasm. The next time I'm feeling lazy about voting, I'll reread your reply to get psyched up again. Yes, I voted. Took my daughter with so she could see how it all works. Only problem is she wanted to tell everyone whom I voted for. Snuff
