In helping my daughter with this project I have been amazed by some of the statistics I have found. Here are some that just blew me away. On average, someone is killed by a drunk driver every 45 minutes. About three in every ten Americans will be involved in an alcohol related crash at some point in their lives. During the last 30 days, 28.5% of high school students nationwide had ridden one or more times in a car or other vehicle driven by someone who had been drinking alcohol. Thank you!
