So my old neighbors I just wanted to share my crazy weather. Of course I live at 10,000 ft. but here it is the first day of fall and we have 6 inches of snow already. I sure am glad I don't live in Colorado anymore!! I moved here from Douglas County, CO a few years back. Snow is OK - every now & then. However, it came WAY to soon & too often in Colorado. Thanks for the update - I'll have to call some of my former Colorado neighbors & tease them a little about the yucky weather coming their way The weather here has been a little cool lately - but its been beautiful outside.
Ah, the sensation of skiing the back bowls of Vail with a ridiculous amount of powder so that when you stop, you begin to sink!
I love it really. I live on top of the world it seems. It snowed the last few daystoday it's melting. There is such beauty with the snow mixed with the many colorful fall leaves of gold, green, red, and orange. It's peaceful and I am such a nature person. I am the oppposite I don't like too much heat and the humidity down there killed me. OY yes Vail! Only 30 minutes from our house. I have a pass this year call the 5 mountain pass. I can board at Breck, Keystone, A Basin, Beaver Creek I get 10 days, and 10 days Vail. It's supposed to be a good season. Oy .. message me if you get out here we have connections for hotel and other discounts. I like Copper Mountain too. My son loves coming up here we get passes for free for him to board. Enjoy your sunshine.

Colorado was nice while growing up but, yesterday I was out taking a PUT on my bike in 85 plus temp with hopes that it will stay this way all winter long. However, my son and I will go to West Virginia in Jan. for some snow fun.
