Based on the high number of recommendations on this forum, I hired Matt Stewart of ProKleen to clean the carpet in the house that we just moved out of. Trust me when I say that carpet was NASTY. At one time in its life it used to be white. When we left it was a nice shade of gray/black. I really had no hope of it ever being clean again. Matt came and cleaned the carpet this morning. We went over there around lunch time and I swear the carpet looks BRAND NEW. Folks, trust me when I say he performed a miracle this morning. There are NO spots at all on the carpet and it looks like it was just put down. I highly recommend Matt to anyone who thinks there is no hope for their carpet.
