The award-winning West Johnston High School Band will perform its annual Holiday Concert this Sunday, December 10, at 3:00 pm. The concert will be help at the West Johnston Auditorium and admission is free. There will be a reception for the community immediately following the concert in the cafeteria. Sunday’s program will feature Russian Christmas Music by Alfred Reed, selections from Peter I. Tchaikovsky’s Nutcracker, as well as many other holiday classics. The Concert Band will be joined by the WJHS Percussion Ensemble and the WJHS Honors Chorus under the direction of Ms. Sarah Phelps. “We are very happy to have the join us on this special occasion,” stated Director of Bands, David S. Duffy. “We truly hope the entire community will join us in celebrating the Holiday season this Sunday,” stated Director of Bands, M.
