The 5th Annual West Johnston High School Marching Band Invitational
will be held on Saturday, October 11th, 2008....

Competition begins at 2 pm and will include some of the best high school bands in the region. It will also be a great opportunity to get out and support the West Johnston High School band as they continue their journey to New York City!

You can be a part of this journey by coming this weekend and experiencing it firsthand, or by exploring the website, where you can even donate to help these 200 students as they become a part of the history that is the 82 Annual Macy's Thanksgiving Parade.

Catch a band kid or two while you're out and about and they will tell you how important it is to them that they share this experience with the community....

How much is admission and are there prices for kids that are different from adults? I used to be in the colorguard in the marchin badn back home in PA and I'd LOVE to see it.

Clayton HS band will be there. Wish I could go, but I am on crutches and am suppose to stay off my foot this weekend.

But do go watch the kids. Just like the Clayton Band Classic, there will be some great bands there.
