Goal Setting a Priority at West Smithfield Elementary SMITHFIELD-- West Smithfield Elementary students will take part in a celebration on Friday, October 28 that reflects the importance of setting goals in life. District Attorney Tom Lock will deliver the school's Vision Statement to the fifth grade students, who will then read it to the student body. Students will perform a school song composed by a fifth grade student at the school. Every year, the school takes an opportunity to emphasize the importance of personal, class and school goals. This year's event will take place from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m. in the bus parking lot.
