OK, we have our 2 new kittens, both have been in our home for several months now. We acopted them from JCAPL where they were eating some basic kitten food. They ate it just fine, but of course I fell for the hype of the premium brand (i.e. promises less 'output'). So, I switched them to the Blue Buffalo Spa Select for Kittens. Is there really any difference? What do you feed your cats??? Thx, Jan
I had been feeding my cat Iams Indoor Weight Control/hairball for YEARS ... but wanted to see if there was something better for her ... so switched to Nutro Max Cat (Indoor Weight Control). She's been on it several months now - I dont honestly see much difference in her appearance, attitude, or 'waste'. She eats less of it ... so I suppose it's more cost-effective. It's crunchier, so it might be better for her teeth.
I usually cook for them and add a little dry food. My Lab eats Blue Buffalo and my lil' guy eats Wellness. It does matter what you feed them...health issues as well as their poop!
My cats (11, 9, and 2 years old) get Purina One for Good Urinary Health. Plus I always save them a little meat at nght and they get a few treats after breakfast. We call em Froot Loops but they're Temptations. 2 of the 3 were at the vet today for vaccinations and check ups and they're fine and happy.
