My sister works downtown and said that around 4pm 13 - yes her office counted them - 13 police cars flew down Main Street and then they saw a chopper flying low - Hubby said he heard something about a chase that began in Selma, but had no details and was unsure if this was part of the same event. Anyone got the 411 on what happened? Busy day for the law in the county yesterday!
I did hear something about another chase happening on the news last night, but I didn't catch all of it!
they had a small chase yesterday from Selma to Clayton that ended on West Stallings street. I think the article was on 1270 this morning.
Actually it was 2 Selma PD cars, 2 Troopers, 1 Deputy, and 2 Clayton PD cars, but not all at the same time. Gotta admit though.... 13 cars flying down Main Street sounds MUCH cooler!
