Anybody know what they are doing at the end of Old Drug Store and Hwy 50 right at the stop light? Looks like it might be a gas station or something, but the lot looks awfully small.
Look on the bright side... If someone is going too fast for that curve at the end of ODS, instead of running into a ditch or pile of dirt, they'll now have some gas pumps to cushion their crash!
In a meeting this morning we were told by a rep from the Planning Commission that it is a gas station/convenience store owned by the same people that own the one on CSR next to the dollar store.
Well let me clarify that. The gas station next to the Dollar General was built by Cleveland Petroleum, LLC., which is owned by "he who must not be named". That person is also building the gas station on the site here in question. Typically he builds and sells but the one next to DG he has not sold for whatever reason. The new one could indeed be a Sandhue's. Dont know yet.
