I really need to go shopping, and was wondering if anyone knows what's going on this weekend?

With it being Labor Day weekend and all, I would think there'll be sales etc going on. I didn't get my usual flyers in the mail, and don't get the paper, so am at a loss.

    Help!

Are you talking about groceries or clothes?

If you're talking about clothes, Kohls is having a 50% off sale today and tomorrow with $10 Kohls cash for every $50 spent. That's the only one I know of. I plan to be there!

I was at Kohl's yesterday and they had a TON of clearance racks too.

I got MM a pair of pants and 2 shirts, and LB three onesies, for $21.

Well I am trying to sit here and type the best deals, but I dont know what you are looking for. My suggestion would be go to the food store websites and see the fliers online!

Food lion has peaches for 99c and T-bone for 5.99, Kellogg's cereal (some) and oscar mayer hot dogs--bogo free.

OHHHH and on line purchases does not count for the Kohls bucks!! Ugggg But I did get some good deals.

That's me, SB, essentials only. I'll probably spring for an extra meat deal to grill out this weekend, but that's all.

    Thanks, le!!

I finally went to the grocery store this week and here are some good buys I bought. You probably already went shopping, frogger - but here they are anyway. :)

Clearly my hubby was entertaining the kids for the afternoon while I shopped peacefully at HT, Lowe's and a quick trip to CVS.

Subtotal before sales and coupons for all three locations: $154.56
    Amount Paid: $28.45
    Savings: 82%

    Harris Teeter deals:

    Daisy Sour Cream 16 oz sale BOGO .99 each - .75 Target printable Q = .24
Ball Park Fat Free Smoked Turkey Hot Dogs BOGO - $1 wine tag Q = $1 each
Sara Lee Hot Dog Buns = Free with coupon that requires purchase of 2 Ball Park hot dog packages
Barilla Bow Tie pasta = Free with man coupon from completing survey
    Muellers Rotini sale .84 = Free with .50 Q from e-mailing manufacturer
Mighty Dog canned food = Free with coupons from last Sunday's paper
Carrots 1 lb sale = .50 per lb.
    Corn on cob .20 each
    5 Handi-snacks pudding sale .80 each - $5 Food Lion Q = Free with overage
    GUM toothbrushes sale 1.49 - .75 Sunday paper Q = Free
HT 120 count napkins $1.29 - $1.29 = FREE (these are part of the weekly E-vic specials this week. The register did not take off the $1.50 E-vic Promotion amount so they refunded $1.29 at customer service. They thought it was only the larger pack that qualified for the deal but I had the printout from the HT website with the UPC's listed so they refunded the purchase price)

    Lowe's Foods Deals:

White House Applesauce 6 packs .99 sale using LF store Q - .50Q = Free
Sorrento Cheese sticks sale 2.99 - $2 Q (found on packages in store) = .99

    CVS:

I don't know if they still have the blinkies at food lion for the ball park singles thet are wrapped individually but they were for .75 off one, so over at Lowes the ballparks are also BOGO which included the singles at 3.99 if you use those blinkies on each one you get the singles for 1.00 for 2 plus across the aisle was that coupon for sara lee free buns so 2 packs of 8 hot dogs and a pack of buns for 1.00. I did not hog the blinkies, so I hope there would be some left
