Dems have the house, & the Sen. Shall we start the time clock on when the defending the border program is replaced with the kinder notion of a Wal Mart greeter every 100 yards or so. They can also hand out SS cards as they pass by. Then let's go a head and pull troops from around the world and replace them with soical workers with food stamps in hand. I just really hope NC can sponsor a couple of new welfare programs, that would really just make my day.

Let me get back to work.... others who won't work need my money.

I think the Grateful Dead said it best:

"I may be going to Hell in a bucket, but at least I am enjoying the ride."

Set back, enjoy the ride and watch the Dems bury themselves once again.

I can't see where a whole h*ll of a lot has been done on either side (democrat or republican) regarding safeguarding our borders.

And, now, you will see it get even worse. AND, you will get to see the economy fall apart right alog with it.

    I think it's funny.

I agree that it has taken a while to get started, but the Rep. party got the bill signed for the fence. I can assume that even though it will not be the great wall of china(should be) that even a fence takes time to bulid. Other than welcome them with open arms what have the dems even tried to do to curve this problem? If I am wrong, I am sure one of the Libs/dems that post here will let me know.

Fences take time and can be cut. Landmines less time and last a much longer time. I know a bit extreme but we are trying to stop an invasion we should defend our country with every option out there

No, you didn't! Quoting the Dead to express you conservative post-election anger! The Dead? The band that's the icon of the hippy generation? The Haight Ave., San Francisco liberal singing-hippy-freaks?

Man, you're just raining on my Sunshine Daydream. But you know, If you lead, we will follow, but if you fall, you fall alone. So you should have seen it coming, because it seems how everything leads up to this day / But it's just like every other day that's ever been / The sun coming up and then the sun, it's going down.

So dude, don't be like a ripple in still water when there is no pebble tossed, you know? Or someone might remind you that [/i]there's 32 teeth in a jawbone, and you're trying for none. :x

Ok, I've vented, now I'll just let it be (oops, wrong liberal singing-hippy-freak band) and keep on
    truckin', like the Doo-Dah Man

Isn't what you just said a form of terrorism?

Fine. Next time you're about to walk into a wall or fall down the stairs, no one should be a terrorist and warn you.

There is a difference between saying "Look out for the wall" and saying "If you elect democrats you'll walk into a wall".

Where warning and terrorism differ is in the intent.

Ok...so, then why hasn't Dubya bombed Teheran (sp?) yet? That was the strategy for Iraq, wasn't it? Isn't that the thing to do with Evil-doers who have WMD's? Please tell me what I'm missing here, and why it's suddenly a probability that the Iranians are going to bomb us, with the Dems contriolling congress again. :?

What, me worry? If Dubya taps my phone, all he's going to hear is me talking to my mom about the kids and making arrangements with the ex for picking the kids up after their visits. Boring! So are they going to bust me for liking good music? I listen to Kenny Chesney and Sara Evans, too. Do I get Brownie points for that? :p Brownies....hmmm, that would be good right now. Sorry, gotta go...
