Wasn't there a thread on here recently about local (cleveland area) youth soccer programs? I swear I saw it but now I can't find it.
GCAA will be having walk-in soccer signups tomorrow (Sat) from 9-12 at the Ag building and then again next Thursday from 7-9, same place. You can also register online at www.gcaasports.com until then as well.
I'm trying to decide who to go with. It's between the MCAA, the GCAA or the YMCA. I need to know how many practices each one will hold and what days the games are on. The GCAA site has been down all day, the MCAA site does not show that info and I can't find my link for the YMCA soccer. UGGH
YMCA says 1 practice a week for 2 weeks, then 1 game a week for (i think 8 weeks) on Tuesday. I just called and checked.
CGAA has soccer for 4 year olds and up. 3 years old if your birthday hits right. Practices are twice a week, (one weekday, one Saturday) normally, until the season starts and then usually its once a week on the same weekday. Games this year are on Saturday only.
We love the Y program at McGee's (really @ a Church on Old Fairgrounds Rd.) The one night a week format works well for our family.
YMCA information Would someone post the YMCA contact information for soccer registration. One night a week would work for my family too! I need to get my son involved in an extra curricular activity like soccer. He played for MCAA last year and I was not very happy with the setup and management. They may have improved since last year was the first year, who knows. Anyway, post or pm me with YMCA information please!
