Where do you board your pups?

We will be attending a funeral out of state at the beginning of February. I had heard great things about Bone Voyage and had considered boarding my babies there while we were away. However, according to their website they will be closed during the time we will be away. Is there another reputable boarding facility in the area that will give the pups playtime rather than leaving them locked away in a crate? We have two small dogs (Brussels Griffon and a Border Terrier). They spend most of their day playing together so hopefully the boarding facility would let the two dogs room together. I'm afraid they will be lonely without the company.

We use Stage Road Animal Hospital & Kennels.
    639-3337

They are located off 210 & Stage Road towards Angier. We board Big Woof-Woof 2-3 times a year, never had any issues.

There are 3 full time Vets working there now.
Dr. Mendoza is who we see.

We have cats & a dog.

I've never inquired about their kennel service - but Stage Raod Animal Hospital is the vet I use. I love them. My pups both have appointments on Mondays to see Dr. Mendoza. I will ask about their kennels while I am there.

We also use Zookeeper to take care of our furry kids when we are out of town-our dogs LOVE her and we love them being able to stay home and have someone come in and check on the house and care for them. But call early, she stays booked up a lot of the time.

I guess I am in a wierd mood, but is a furneral planned this far in advance, or are you planning to commit a crime that we need to stop you from?

I know this is not funny, I am sorry.... I must need some sleep! Please dont take it wrong.

It must be to allow family to gather? Sorry Melynda, I am not trying to be disrespectful.

Thanks for the reply. I believe you are talking about Bone Voyage ... which would have been my first choice. Unfortunately they won't be open the week that I will need to board the boys. I went ahead and made an appointment at Stage Road. Hopefully they will do OK.
