I give him an allowance and he does his own shopping. Ticks me off when he comes home with a bunch of treats.
It depends. Most food from Walmart, accesories wherever I find them on sale. Some stuff for the turtle I can only get at Petsmart or Petco. I made some custom leashes myself though out of the nylon webbing and some really cute lady bug ribbon with my sewing machine. 8) Made a couple that have dog bones on the ribbon too.
Petsmart for my dog food & treats. You cant find Nutros Natural Choice dog food anywhere but Petsmart or Petco and that is what my fur kids eat. I have bought treats at BJ's, they have big bags of Busy Bones and smoked pig ears that are a good price. There is a place at the State Fairgrounds that has a good selection of basic collars, leashes, etc...and you can get an engraved name tag there too. I think they are a little cheaper than Petsmart for the collars and leashes. They dont have anything fancy or printed, just plain collars and leashes, but they do have a good assortment of colors.
Mostly Petsmart and BJ's (when I have a coupon). I refuse to get pet supplies at Wally world except in dire extremes. I had to buy a box of dog biscuits once and i got it at wal mart.
BJ's has a $2.00 coupon for the Busy Rawhide Bones, Beggin Strips or any Purina dog treat and there is a $7.00 coupon for Iams dog or cat food if you use Iams. Also a $2.50 coupon for Tidy Cat Litter.
i buy litter at costco, its 11 dollars for 40 lbs,and food and treats and toys(like they need more toys) at petsmart. i buy the better quality food than they sell at wally world so i can have a healthier cat and so we wont have to scoop as much!
PetSmart for food becasue they carry the Blue Buffalo my babies eat. I also order toys and treats online at PetEdge. AWESOME!
Depends on what I'm looking for ... I sometimes run up to Raleigh to 'Pet Supplies Plus' on Wake Forest ... they're one of the closest dealers that sell one of my dog's dog food. While I'm there, I'll sometimes stock up on cat food/supplies, or fish supplies. Otherwise, it's Petsmart or the local grocery store for treats/litter/etc.
carolina pet supply in garner! yes, it's a little bit of a drive, but it's LOCALLY OWNED< surrounded by 2 pet smart locations, and still survives. it does so with high quality, extensive selection, and friendly staff who know what they're talking about. haven't shopped anywhere else in over a decade... although i will admit to buying cat food and litter at walmart. i also have fish and snakes i buy for at CPS
This has been kinda interesting, though, I keep hoping someone will mention a small independent place somewhere without going to Raleigh. I used to get my food from Pet Supplies Plus, but its such a drive to Raleigh and I'm notorious for buying a lot other stuff in town. I did go to Tractor Supply for a while to get Blue Buffalo, but I'm not a big fan of Taste of the Wild because of ethoxyquin concerns in their fish. I now, just have a monthly autoshipment with SmartPak.com. They send me Wellness CORE, the dogs' joint and vitamin supplement, and their heartworm meds. It's nice when I remember to search for coupon codes! I started using them when one time I drove to Raleigh to pick up a certain supplement for my girls and the store was out of it.
Pet Smart or Wal Mart for cat food. Grocery stores don't carry the big bags of the food we buy. Pedigree for the dogs so wherever I am for that, and whoever has the right cat litter on sale.
