Gas has risen over 20% the last couple of weeks with no appreciable rise is crude oil prices!!! Why are we not complaining about this?? Have we become so complacent that if it's under $2 a gallon it's a good price?? Just my personal belief, if we are going to let them get away with this without at least raising an objection, guess where we're headed??? JMHO.:banghead:

You do understand the 20th hasn't happened yet? You do realize that Israel and Palestine are waging war on each other? That we really haven't done anything to stop it, nor do I think we are really in a position to do so?

Yes they cut OPEC cut production like two or three weeks ago to 20 million barrels a day I think.

Why would you want facts to get in the way of a good assumption?

Can you explain how the cut in production and the falling price for crude oil creates higher prices? Maybe one of the economic 'experts' can explain it for you. I am sure a tax cut for the wealthy would somehow reduce those prices, it solves all of the other problems according to some.

Pretty much, in the study of gas prices we are psychological test subjects.

The reason there isn't significant "outrage" is plain and simple...

You don't like, try living without it! They charge what they want because we will pay it. Besides, the price needs to go up some in order for the economy to stabilize out.

Why Enlightened person about prices anyway? it won't change anything...Bitching about gas/oil prices is like bitching about it being cold outside.

If it is that bad, buy something more fuel effecient...Like a motorcycle :) 50+ MPG is GREAT
