I have two cats, one is the sweetest thing that ever lived, not an agressive bone in her body. The other is a tabby who has a split personality! She bites my 7 year old for no reason whatsoever, he doesn't pick on her and isn't mean to her, so I can't figure it out. Most of the time, she's his best buddy, sleeps with him, follows him around, the whole nine yards, but every once in a while, she will just attack him and leave marks! We call it a "drive-by" because she will sneak up and bite the crap of him, then take off running. She only does it to him, not me or my husband. What is up with that?? The other one doesn't do it, just the tabby, so I don't think it is anything we are doing wrong as "cat parents". I've sprayed her with water from a spray bottle when she's done it, but that hasn't kept her from doing it again. Any ideas? She's about 3 years old and has been doing it off and on since she was about 6 months old. :?
I love cats, I really do! I love everything about them, everything. So it seems like a cruel joke that I'm so allergic to them these days that I have asthma-like attacks from being around them. Or maybe it's God's way of keeping me from taking in every stray cat that I come in contact with - ?? :? Holy Cow Ready! A whole site devoted to mean cats, LOL!!!! Never in my wildest dreams! OK, maybe she's not so bad after all. I was forgetting about my uncle's Siamese who would hiss at you if you even looked at her, that meana$$ finally died at 23 this year! He was heartbroken, I wanted to throw a party! 8)
The meanest cat I ever met was a Siamese named Malachi. He is the only cat I've ever met that I didn't like.
