White Oak - Japanese Steak House

    newsflash!

    Kaze Japanese Steak House coming to White Oak. It will be over near the movie theatre. I don't know when its going to be opening, but material for the upfit has been delivered.

    Yeah, heard that last week from someone who works at White Oak. i don't know anything about that particular restaurant but i love a Japanese Steakhouse, hope they are good.

    Is this a chain place or a locally owned place? Has anyone heard of them?

    update

    This was in the N&O on August 5, 2006:

    "In Garner's White Oak Village, the retail center next to the White Oak Cinemas, Lee Spa Nail and Mattress Warehouse will open this fall, and Kaze Japanese Steakhouse and Sushi will open near the end of the year."
